Creating and updating passwords

WorkHQ accounts are created without a password by default. Users can always login using password-less login, which sends a login link to the account’s email address.

Passwords can be created or updated in the account’s Settings page.

1. Navigate to the Settings page, found in the dropdown menu in the navigation bar.

2. Scroll down to the Update Password section. If no password is set, the Current Password field will be disabled with the message “None”. Create a password by typing and retyping the new password into the two password fields and clicking Update.

Passwords must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters in length

  • Include at least 1 capital letter

  • Include at least 1 number

  • Include at least 1 special character

3. To update your existing password, scroll down to the Update Password section of the Settings Page. Type your current password in the Current Password field. Create a password by typing and retyping the new password into the two password fields and clicking Update.
