Importing with .CSV files is a fast and flexible method to get existing applicant lists into your WorkHQ account. Uploaded applicants will be matched to existing WorkHQ profiles, giving you access to their Profile Scores and advanced filtering options.

The upload requires LinkedIn profile URLs to improve matching rate between your data and WorkHQ profiles.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the CSV Import tool.

2. Select if you candidates will be appended to an existing project or used to create a new project.

3. Download the .CSV template file with column naming format and example data.

4. Format your data to the CSV template. CSV files can be edited using Excel, Google Sheets, Pages, and many other spreadsheet editors. Make sure you delete the example data rows.

  • LinkedIn URL [required] - URL of applicant's linkedin profile. The exact URL format is not important as strings surrounding the username will be trimmed automatically.

  • First Name [optional]

  • Last Name [optional]

  • Email [optional]

5. Save your .CSV file. Make sure the output filetype is .csv format.

6. Upload your .CSV file by clicking the Upload link or by dragging the file into the dashed-line box. A successful file upload will be indicated by a green checkmark.

Press Submit to add candidates to the selected project. Note, the Submit button will become active once a destination project is selected and the file is uploaded

7. A summary screen is displayed once the submission is completed. This screen summarizes the profile matching success rate. Click View List to see applicants.

8. The destination project can be viewed in the Source, Inbound, or Dashboard sections.
